- Prairie View Christian Church was planted by East 91st Street Christian Church (E91, Indianapolis, IN).  Erick Riddle
was the founding minister.  Our first service was held on September 29, 1991, in New Britton Elementary School,
with 311 guests, visitors, and attenders at the launch service.

- On November 18, 2001, we purchased seven acres of land at 141st  and Allisonville, and began making plans to
build on that location.  In May of 1998, we bought another acre there.

- Tom Harrigan brought in as a second full time staff person.  Tom was responsible for nurturing and growing the
youth ministry at PVCC.  The Harrigans began their ministry at PVCC in Jan 1995.

Road (presently the Alhuda Foundation).

ministry as Senior Minister in February 1998.

- Steve Mozingo was called as our Asociate of Children and
Youth in June 2001.
- Prairie View launched a capital campaign in November 2002.  The plan was to begin building on the property at
141st & Allisonville Road.

- When Joe La Rue resigned his position as Senior Minister in January 2003, Steve Mozingo filled in as the Interim
Pastor; in August 2003, the congregation unanimously voted Steve in as the next Senior Minister at PVCC.

- In January 2004, Prairie View started holding one (1) Sunday AM worship service, instead of continuing two services
as had been done since 1998, in an effort to unify and nurture the body.
- In May 2004, the Groundbreaking ceremony took place at the
141st & Allisonville property.  In June 2004, Akers Construction
Services began their good work of building a new place of
 worship for PVCC.

- On March 6, 2005, PVCC holds first worship service (“Test Run
service”) at 8350 East 141st Street – 10AM.  Grand opening is held
 one week later.

- In May 2006, Eric Roseberry comes to PVCC as Associate Pastor
  for youth.

church, and Robby Spillman begins his service as Senior Minister.

- In July 2009, Mike Wiencek arrives as new Student Minister, as
Eric Roseberry plants City of God Church in Lafayette, IN.
- In August 2009, Robby Spillman returns to his home church in
Lexington, KY, and the Search Team starts their search for our
next Senior Minister.

- In October 2010, Ryan Loucks is affirmed by the congregation as
PVCC’s 5th Senior Minister.  He begins his ministry in the pulpit
November 7th!

- In January 2011, Mike Wiencek continues his work serving the
Lord in Idaho, having accepted a position in Boise.

- In March 2011, Idaho sends a replacement: Jeff Stearns, and his
wife Heidi, from Twin Falls.  Pray for Jeff as he settles in here,
and for Heidi and the kids as the finish out the school year in ID.
